I work full time, something I enjoy as my job is helping people out of financial difficulties. No loans involved, it’s a free debt counselling service. Through this I gained my expertise in benefits as this is required to maximise income. I am always amazed that people are not getting what they are entitled to. Just an explanation for those that are not aware of ASIST - ASIST is an organisation that helps people who are feeling depressed and suicidal and certainly does not assist people to commit suicide. The ASIST Logo was added to our website to offer help to those members depressed or affected by suicide as Karin (one of our Moderators) has had training to help to talk to people who may need someone to talk to. Just to make it clear The IPRS does not approve of or promote assisted suicide in anyway nor do we associate with organisations that do.

Katie - forum name Katie. Is our USA forum moderator and is happy to welcome you to the forum. "I have 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren. I have had PR for at least 20 years. All that time I knew something was wrong, and I was finally diagnosed 2 years ago on my very first visit to a rheumy. I immediately found the IPRS and it has helped me immensely. I have a small business but am looking forward to travelling someday.
