A Who's Who in the IPRS

The IPRS Volunteers

Alan - forum name Kcider. Alan is our Technical Engineer and is involved with both the Website and Forum if you have any technical problems with either, please contact him via the forum mentioning "technical problem" in the subject.

Karin - forum name Kanderson. Karin is our UK benefits advisor, as well as one of our forum moderators. If you have any benefits questions or non technical forum questions, please contact her via the forum (or using the private message service in the forum). Karin says "I was diagnosed with PR last year but have had it since I was pregnant with my first child, he is now 8 years old. I am married with two children. I work full time, something I enjoy as my job is helping people out of financial difficulties. No loans involved, it’s a free debt counselling service. Through this I gained my expertise in benefits as this is required to maximise income. I am always amazed that people are not getting what they are entitled to. I hope that my knowledge of benefits and personal knowledge of PR will help the members of The IPRS". Karin recommends this useful guide to help you In Completing DLA Forms by the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society. Click Here For Guide.
Karin is a trained ASIST person (Applied Suicide Interventions Skills). If you feel in need of her services or any help or support contact her through the IPRS Forum, her username is Kanderson.

Just an explanation for those that are not aware of ASIST - ASIST is an organisation that helps people who are feeling depressed and suicidal and certainly does not assist people to commit suicide. The ASIST Logo was added to our website to offer help to those members depressed or affected by suicide as Karin (one of our Moderators) has had training to help to talk to people who may need someone to talk to. Just to make it clear The IPRS does not approve of or promote assisted suicide in anyway nor do we associate with organisations that do.
